KKR LIFTS IPL-5 TROPHY

The most awaiting result of fifth IPL has been finally revealed after a war between nine teams for almost two and a half months. The under estimated Shah Rukh Khan’s KKR lifted the IPL-5 trophy after beating the defending champions CSK. The fantastic final was played between Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and Chennai Super Kings(CSK) MA Chidambaram Stadium, Chepauk, Chennai. A heroic knock of 89 by Manvinder Bisla and Kallis took away the trophy from CSK and it’s a full stop for the hat-trick dreams of CSK fans. Earlier, CSK made 189-3 with good batting performance by Vijay, birthday boy Hussey and Raina setting a tough target of 190 for KKR to win. Chennai was in the driver seat when Gambhir returned to pavilion earlier but the MOM Bisla took the game away from CSK with a knock of 89 off 48 balls. He was given a strong support by the legend Kallis with 69 to his part. Gambhir expressed this victory as ‘Mission accomplished’ and in the presentation ceremony he praised the local boy Lakshmipathy Balaji as the unsung hero of our team. Unfortunately he was missed out due to injury yet he has done his part than expected in the league matches.
