Google Jelly Bean Tablet @ $125



Karbonn Mobiles has unveiled 7-inch Jelly Bean Tablet which is using Google's latest OS at the price of around $125. Due to which the prices of tablets running with Android 4.1 OS are being dropped. Two months back Google's Nexus 7 was announced which starts at $199 which is almost $75 costlier than the latest release. 

This 7-inch screen tablet runs on a single-core MIPS processor at a clock speed of 1.2GHz. It has a 2-megapixel front camera, 3G support through a dongle, and seven hours of battery life. It has 32GB of expandable storage and is likely to be a micro-SD slot. Google's Nexus 7 is having quad-core Nvidia Tegra 3 processor, a 7-inch high-resolution screen and up to 16GB of internal storage.

Few models of Tablets with MIPS processors have not been popular despite the low price under $150.  It had a plan of releasing new 7-inch tablet Miumiu W1 with .2GHz MIPS processor, a front camera, a micro SD slot from Chinese company Ramos in India, Latin America and Europe. MIPS is competing against ARM, whose processors go into most tablets such as Apple's iPad. According to analysts, the new MIPS processors are more power efficient and faster comparable to current ARM processors in performance.
