How to change ACCESS ID Password

The PeopleSoft access ID is the RDBMS ID with which PeopleSoft applications are ultimately connected to your database after the PeopleSoft system connects using the connect ID and validates the User ID and password. It has all the RDBMS privileges necessary to access and manipulate data for an entire PeopleSoft application. The access ID should have Select, Update, and Delete access. Users do not know their corresponding access IDs. They just sign in with their user IDs and passwords. Behind the scenes, the system signs them into the database using the access ID.

Datamover includes a command called CHANGE_ACCESS_PASSWORD. Purpose - to reset the database password in the PSACCESSPRFL record for the database system user that typically owns the PeopleSoft schema (e.g. SYSADM for Oracle or sa for Microsoft SQL Server).

The syntax for the command is:
CHANGE_ACCESS_PASSWORD [SymbolicID] [Password]

The symbolic ID is the account used by PeopleSoft to link users (operators) to the system account which is stored as ACCESSID in the PSACCESSPRFL record and encrypted. Symbolic ID is present in PSOPRDEFN & PSACCESSPRFL tables.

Additional Info:  Below is the PeopleSoft tables give you releases information.
PSRELEASE       -     PeopleSoft Application Release version
PSSTATUS           -     People Tools Release version
PSLOCK               -     Object version
PS_MAINTENANCE_LOG       -   Application DB version & Bundles / Tax update info.

WORLD'S FIRST SEX SCHOOL

Sex school for 16 year old students… Do you believe this? Yes. Its true and you have to believe this. Ylva-Maria Thompson, an enterprising Swedish schoolmistress has opened the world's first international sex school in Vienna for the students over the age of 16 to teach the art of being better lovers. It looks strange for the people because it has been considered as an activity which should be learned behind closed doors, whereas Thompson thinks in a different way. The Austrian International Sex School offers 'hands on' lessons in seduction for 1,400 pounds a term. This college is termed as 'the world's first college of applied sexuality'.

Students are expected to practice their 'homework' in a co-ed dormitory block and by the end of their course, they are awarded a qualification. They feel that their core education is not theoretical, but very practical and the emphasis is on how to be a better lover. The school, however, has already turned controversial in Austria with it raunchy advertisements showing a couple making love having already invited ban by Austrian TV.

99 YEAR ERROR ENDS

Dr Stephen Hughes, a physicist from Queensland University of Technology, Sydney has discovered an error in the Oxford Dictionary that went unnoticed for 99 years. He claims that he has discovered the dictionary's definition of the word "siphon" has been incorrect since 1911. While the dictionary mentions that a siphon works due to atmospheric pressure, the actual force that works behind it is gravitational force. He added that "It is gravity that moved the fluid in a siphon, with the water in the longer downward arm pulling the water up the shorter arm”. He has informed this error to the respective people working over it and it is believed to have the correct meaning in the forthcoming edition of Oxford Dictionary.
