New software has been developed to track
the exact location of distant objects and monitor their speed and direction which
would be very useful to soldiers in battlefield to better target the location
of their enemies. This app provides so many tools in a single, readily
available, relatively inexpensive package. With this application if the target size
is known, a single image is enough to pinpoint the target's location. If the target
size is unknown, the software uses two images to triangulate the location of
the target. If the target is moving, with the short video of moving target,
this software can calculate the speed and also in what direction target is moving.
The improved battery life, camera resolution and GPS accuracy makes the
software to provide more accurate observations and also it is more
user-friendly. It is not restricted only to soldiers and could be used by
everyone.
